Gallmar Gear and Grind has the technology and the skills for precision gear grinding. Our skilled tradespeople create precision gear systems, designed to achieve the technical specifications of the project. Our processes include outside and outer diameter grinding, o.d. grinding and gear broaching.
Protective Coating Division: MagnaCoat
MagnaCoat protects your product investment and lengthens component life. We offer two protective coating methods for metal parts. One method is mainly for steel, while the other works for all types of metal. Our processes include black oxide finishing, black oxide plating and manganese phosphating.

Legacy of Metal Processing Expertise
Fox Valley Heat Treat, Inc. opened in October 1986, led by Michael Galligan. MagnaCoat, LLC (protective coatings) and Gallmar Grinding, LLC (gear specialties) were added in 2000. This made us the Fox Valley’s “One-Stop Shop” metal processing company.
We moved to our current location on Oshkosh’s North Side in 2005. Our ultra-efficient facility contains the latest technology to leverage our significant expertise in the field.
In 2009, we formed “Gallmar Industries, LLC” as the parent company to help our customers realize that we are unique in being able to provide our varied services all under one roof. We have continued to add and modify our services to accommodate customer and market needs.
Our company was established, grew, and operates today as a family-owned company, focusing our efforts on superior customer service. Many of our customers still rely on us today for the same support and service they have since the company’s founding.
