Manganese Phosphate
What is Manganese Phosphate Coating?
Manganese phosphating is an oil absorptive coating that prevents excessive wear and seizing of surfaces during a break-in period. The most advantageous reasons for using manganese phosphate are the prevention of metal-to-metal contact, excellent oil retention and corrosion resistance, and superior lubrication during break-in.
What products commonly use this process?
Manganese phosphate is most commonly used on piston rings, camshafts, liners, differential gears, transmission gears, motor blocks and similar bearing surfaces.
We can coat parts up to 55" in length.
